QUALIROUTES is the standard specification of the Service public de Wallonie for road and public-space works: the road counterpart of the CCTB, used for roads, sewers, paving and outdoor works.

QUALIROUTES is the standard specification of the Service public de Wallonie — of its Mobilité et Infrastructures administration — for road and public-space works. It plays for the road the part the CCTB plays for the building: one shared reference text, numbered articles, measurement clauses shared by project authors and contractors.
Its scope covers roads, sewers and drainage, paving, signage and outdoor works.
How it lives beside the CCTB
Many projects touch both domains: a public building with its car park, a school with its playground and approaches, a housing scheme with its access road. This does not automatically require two references. CCTB tome 9 already covers the surroundings of buildings.
The special specification names the text and edition applicable to each part of the contract. If it uses both CCTB and QUALIROUTES, it must specify their respective scope. The nature of the works helps you find the likely reference; it does not replace reading the contract documents.
What that changes for the project author
Two references mean two numberings and two sets of measurement clauses. Quantities are not always counted the same way from one text to the other, and a wrongly attached item is settled at the final account. The discipline is the same as for the CCTB: cite the article by its index, state the version, and check that every item has its article.
