Belgian architecture practices

A specification written with AI.

ArchiMind is a specification and quantities workspace for Belgian architects: it drafts CCTB clauses with AI, shows the source of every proposal, and derives the métré from your IFC model.

AI proposes with its source, your team decides, and the quantities follow. All in one place.

AI proposes. The source is visible. You decide.

Every suggestion arrives with the article of your own template it came from, and the reason it is proposed. Nothing enters your document without a click from your team.

  • One source per suggestion. The article of your template is cited, not paraphrased.
  • Accepted or rejected. Two states, no grey area: the document moves only on a decision.
  • Unverified citations are flagged. A standard the source never carried is kept and handed to you, never dropped in silence.
  • Your structure, not ours. Description, exécution, mesurage — or beschrijving, uitvoering, meting.

02Métré

The calculation stays visible, not buried in a cell.

Each quantity stays linked to the clause it measures. The dimension line shows the operation, and the total follows the project.

  • Postes per section, with a project-wide running total.
  • Dimension lines count × L × W × H: review lands on the calculation, not the result.
  • XLSX export for the métré, PDF for the specification, or both as one package.

03Coordination

One article number holds it all together.

The clause, the quantity and the export line carry the same reference. Correct the clause and you know at once which quantity and which export move.

AThe clause

The text you stand behind

Description, execution and measurement, in the structure of your own template.

12.32.1a

BThe quantity

What the clause measures

One or more postes with their dimension lines, attached to this clause and to no other.

12.32.1a.01 · .02

CThe export

What procurement receives

PDF and XLSX produced from the two above. Checks run before it ships, not during the tender.

12.32.1a → row 47

This is the thing a word processor and a spreadsheet cannot do: keep the link after the thirtieth correction.

04The checks

What costs you shows up before you send it.

The readiness checks run on the whole specification, inside the app. Problems surface while you can still fix them cheaply — not once the tender is out.

  • On the whole document. Not the article you happen to have open — every chapter, every time.
  • Naming a product without “or equivalent” is the kind of detail that comes back at the worst moment. The check sees it before you do.
  • Flagged, never silently changed. Each finding names its article and waits for your decision.

FAQ

Common questions, clearly answered.

Where does my data live?

Your projects, files and specifications are stored in the EU on AWS eu-west-3 (Paris), encrypted in transit and at rest. AI drafting uses external model providers, and that processing is not currently pinned to the EU; the privacy policy names them. A data processing agreement is available on request.

What AI models do you use?

We use several AI models and choose per task on quality, cost and availability, so the mix changes as their performance changes. Every proposal shows its source, and nothing is written into your specification until someone on your team accepts it. Enterprise customers can discuss specific processing requirements.

How do exports work with existing BIM workflows?

Import .ifc or .cdcx (Vitruvius) project files. Export the specification as PDF and the métré as XLSX, or both together as one package for procurement. Archicad, Revit and Vectorworks all export IFC, so your existing BIM model is the starting point rather than a re-entry.

What can I start from?

Today you can import .ifc and .cdcx project files and build the specification from there. Importing an in-house document in .docx or .pdf is not currently available, so a specification written elsewhere still has to be brought in through one of those two project formats.

Is there a free trial?

Every workspace starts with a 14-day trial that includes one project, with no credit card required. You can import a model, draft with AI and export during the trial. Cancel before day 14 and you pay nothing; continue and you choose Personal or Team at the prices shown above.

Can I invite my engineering partners?

Yes. Each project has Owner, Editor and Viewer roles, so an engineering partner can review or edit only what you share with them. Every member of a workspace takes a seat on the Team plan, and there is no free view-only tier today, so plan seats for the partners you invite.

A specification you can stand behind

Bring the next project into one controlled workflow.

Start with one project. Keep the clauses, quantities, checks and exports together from first draft to final review.
